Website STANDARD PAGES
Every website has a few standard pages you should create:
Fortunately, most Premium Themes come with pre-populated, well-designed pages that you can edit quickly and easily.
- Home Page – Your WordPress theme usually has settings for this page.
- Contact Us Page – Most of the themes has also predesigned Contact Page, ready for you to edit.
- About Us Page – Tell your story and why you’ve started your business.
- Product or Services Pages – For the main services or products that you’re offering, it’s a good idea to create a dedicated page for each.
- Blog Page– If you’re building a blog, make sure all your posts get listed here.

#1. Adding PAGES
You’ll start by adding a few pages to your WordPress site. Don’t worry if you don’t have enough content for these pages at the moment. You can always edit and update them later.

Add NEW Page
Head over to Pages » Add New page in WordPress admin area. This will bring you to the page editor screen, which looks like this:

After that, simply add your page’s content in the text editor field, hit the big shiny Publish button when you’re done, and you’ve just got yourself a brand new page for your WordPress website.
Finally, you need include linked text on each page to allow visitors to navigate back and forth across your WordPress website.
#2. Adding POSTS
You’ll start by adding a few “Posts” to your WordPress site. Don’t worry if you don’t have enough content for these pages at the moment. You can always edit and update them later.

Add NEW Post
Here, you will see the WordPress posts editor. The most important parts of this page are:
Post Title – enter the title of your post in this field. On your theme it will be shown above your content.
Post Content – you can use the WordPress WYSIWYG editor to add the actual content of your post. Note that it has two tabs available in the kebab menu on the right – Visual (use the editor to format your text) and Code (add your HTML code directly).

When you’ve completed a post, click “Publish” to make it live on the site or save it as a draft for later editing. WordPress also includes tools for scheduling posts to be published at a later date, and any published post can be edited and updated—or deleted completely—whenever necessary.
You’re done with your first post! You can now go to the front page of your site to view your newly created blog post.
